Harbour views, coastal dining, and an evening lounge in Southampton

Booked a room for two nights and the view over the harbour was worth it alone. Had the grilled sole in the restaurant both evenings and popped into the lounge after — a relaxed way to end the trip.

We came down from Bristol for a weekend and the room was quiet, clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure — small things that matter. Staff sorted a late check-out without any hassle.

Stopped in for dinner before a cruise departure and the oysters were properly fresh. Spent an hour in the gaming lounge afterwards with a friend, nice atmosphere, low key, good lighting, not loud at all.
